In 1930, Fred Herzog was born in Germany in the town of Bad Friedrichshall. He was fascinated by photography from childhood. Already in 20 years, he acquired a camera and went to shoot the streets of his native city. Soon his parents were gone, and Fred decided to emigrate to Canada. The camera was one of the most important things of his modest baggage.
